# Information on all snug dot moe

## What is [snug.moe](https://snug.moe)?
It is many things! But the main attraciton is
a laid back comfy [Iceshrimp](https://iceshrimp.dev)
instance on the [Fediverse](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fediverse)!

It used to be a fully public instance with open registrations but has closed down to being invite only so it doesn't grow bigger than it should or we can handle.

You can receive an invite by being a friend of an existing user and have them ask the admin or mods for a code.

* Registrations need approval. You should mention your fedi handle in the Reason if you have that.
* If you're a friend you can ask to have your allocated storage increased.

### <i class="fa fa-xmpp faicon" aria-hidden="true"></i> XMPP
* You can register from any XMPP client an account of the format \<username\>@snug.moe
* Or use the [web registration form](https://xmpp.snug.moe:5443/new/). You can change the password or delete your account from here too.
* It supports Conversations Unified Push! Push server is `up.snug.moe`

* It is invite only.

* Server is `snug.moe` on default port.
